Commercial laminate only performs at the right abrasion rating, and plenty of what gets sold for offices is residential grade. We specify AC4 or AC5 with an appropriate underlay and honest expectations about wet areas.
Floating installations need proper perimeter gaps and room-size limits, both of which we set out before installation rather than after a buckle appears.
